Wow. A 4th Pirates movie? I'm glad that Johnny Depp signed on. As for Orlando and Keira, they probably feel that they obviously want to seperate
themeselves from their roles as Will and Elizabeth and do other projects but at least Johnny's decided to do it. I'm curious as to what it would be
about but would definetely go see it!

Yeah.. twould be interesting to see what would become of this fourth sequel with Jack alone..hopefully Barbossa and such are still part of the old
cast crew.
I just thought that it'd be nice to know that Elizabeth would live eternally with her husband, forever bonded and not forced to separation for such a
long time...but I guess that's where the twist in the movie is..
I'd watch it because it's disney, hopefully the previews would live up to interest.

yeah, I heard it today and now it is all over tha it has been confirmed. Hmmm, I don't know if they should, it may be so awesome and a great movie
but maybe it is just milking it out.
So personally, I'll watch it in the theatres but yeah I dunno, maybe they just should do this
Man, why no KH movie (yeah disney KH :p ^__^)

My thoughts exactly I loved the way the 3rd one ended they pretty much wrapped it up very nicely. You knew what happend to them all. Even in a way
Jacks ending why make a 4th?
Still I know I would most likey still see it if they made a 4th since I love the franchise. And the plot does sounds pretty neat.

Hmm I thought I heard a rumor somewhere when AWE was ending that there mayve a solo Jack movie. I guess I was right, though I would have thought it
might be before the first movie. Err something like that so you get to know Jack's past.
Glad to hear though that Johnny is willing to do this. Sounds interesting anyways ^_^ Hopefully there would be cool fight scenes and loads of cool
graphics.

I was hoping for this, as the Fountain of Youth would make a great plot for both Jack and Barbossa. I'd probably be fine with any sequel that had a
good plot as long as Jack was in it, because he's technically the only real pirate out of the three. I never liked Will much, although Elizabeth I
might miss.
I do hope they don't try to introduce a bunch of new lead characters, though. That would probably be the movie's downfall. Maybe bring a few side
characters into the light, but that's all.

Definitely the case for Orlando.
I'm an Orli fangirl just as much as the next person.
But I think it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that he's pretty desperate to convince the world that 'he's not just a pretty boy' who only does swashbuckling pirates stuff; or being a prince whose lust
instigated the fall of Troy. @_@
As for Keira.
She's got a million projects and a glinting future. So I think her decision not to continue probably has to do with her being sick of the role and
sees the third film as a finish to the POTC journey? As opposed to her fear of getting 'stuck' as Elizabeth? Because I personally think audiences DEFINITELY don't see her as an Elizabeth. She's Keira. Wonderful. Versatile Keira.

I heard about this.
I was happy with three movies but all i can say is the more the merrier i dont see how they could ruin PotC by adding another movie. It'll be
interesting.

It's all confirmed. There's gonna be a POTC 4 . . . it's on the news channels on foxtel and mtv and god-knows where else. I've kinda now on the
fenceline, cause I'm weird and have been thinking about it. Johnny always reads the script and only ever signs a contract if it's good enough. And
seriously there's like only ever been one or maybe two movies Johnny has been in that were lame xD So...fenceline wins. 8D

It would be interesting the end of the 3 part left an open ending, obviously for continue the franchise in a not-too-distant future. I see good that
Orlando and Keira don`t appear in the possibly 4 part, that would be too repetitive I mean the absence of Orlando and Keira would leave room for other
new main characters.
I hope to find a love-hate relationship between Sparrow and a new girl, that would be funny! and I wanna see Barbossa in action again *.*

I cannot wait for this and I am hoping that they bring back my favorite character James Norriongton (Jack Davenport) for this one. He's just got to
come back after being practically ignored and thrown out too soon and in such a poor fashion in the 3rd film.
IMO, no POTC film would be complete without Norrington.

Oh, no.
I'm sorry if I sound really negative when I say this, but I think Disney is just selling out to public demand. (And right now, I think they have more
supply of Pirates now than demand, anyway).
For me, the first movie was enough; just a fun, clean Pirate adventure. The second...not so much. It couldn't stay straight at all. The third...I
won't even start. I'll just say I really, really...really didn't like it.
So far, PotC 4 looks like it'll be based mostly around Jack...what?! That's both a)milking a good-but-once-in-a-lifetime character, and b)Giving the
people more of what Disney thinks they want. Enough Jack, plzthnx. They already made more than enough money on the trilogy; why in the world would
they need ANOTHER?!?
In any case, I think I'll stay far away from it. I apparently can't trust Disney anymore with its property.

I liked the first, and usually i dont like sequels but i liked the second. The third one i didn't care for at all. This is getting ridiculous,
johnny's always great but they really need to stop now.

I completely disagree; the second and third films were, admittedly very different in their approach than the first film.
However this is where most people go wrong. Different does not equal bad. The first film was a historical movie with some supernatural elements, with
most of the focus based around the characters. The second and (more so) the third film were the exact opposite, which seemed to irk alot of people who
expected what they got in Curse of the Black Pearl.
Now that's not to say that the sequels didn't have character development; not only did we get new characters that really helped flesh out the Potc
world (Beckett, Davy Jones, Tia Dalma), they gave us new and interesting situations with our favourites and even provided extensive backgrounds that
weren't dicussed before. Jack became more than just a pirate, Elizabeth and Will's love story became a heck of a lot stronger, and Norrington had a
complete turn around which made his character even more different.
As for confusing plots and loss of focus, I don't think you could get farther from the truth here. At World's End was an intelligent film that
treated it's audience - and it's fans - with respect. It wasn't your usual blockbuster in that you could sit back and enjoy it, you had to follow
each scene closely to get the hints and actually pay attention. Like I said before, I think this confused alot of people who weren't expecting that,
and got confused by the plot and put it down to bad film making. This was certaintly not the case, I feel.
To sum that all up, I think there is so much more they could do with the series and therefore I'm extremely happy that they're making another film.
They're not milking the cow; the writers (Ted and Terry) would NEVER return to write the screenplay if they thougth Disney was trying to do that, and
the same with Johnny. They're all very intelligent people who love a good story and good entertainment, and they would never sell out.
That's why I have complete faith in this new film. Long live pirates!

The first PotC was the best in my opinion, I liked the others but the first is the best, and I like the trilogy as a whole.
But I do wish they'd STOP. A trilogy was enough, it made alot of money, alot of people loved it and thats great. A forth film is just milking it, why
not end on a high instead of making people sick of it?
I doubt I'll bother seeing it. Disney annoy me alot lately, they don't seem to care about making quality entertainment anymore and are just 100% all
about the money. Which is sad.

I'm in two minds about this.
I love the trilogy, they're the sort of movies I can watch over and over without getting sick of them. And I would like to see more-but I think it's
going down the usual Disney money-making route. Churn out more movies with a popular title to make money..
I loved Johnny Depp in the first movie. Jack Sparrow was a brilliant character. But they over-milked what everyone loved about him in the sequels. I
also wasn't too fond of the fantasy elements in the sequels. The first movie had cursed pirates. The sequels had Davy Jones, Calypso, fish
pirates...they are the only things I disliked about the sequels. I dislike fantasy movies. A lot. The first movie catered for several tastes..and I'm
rambling..xD
ANYway, that being said, I'm also not sure about the Fountain of Youth idea...I want a prequel. So many things were unanswered in the third movie,
particularly with regards to Jack and Beckett. What mark did Jack leave on Beckett?? I need to know! *sob*
And I want more Beckett. I luff Beckett...<3<3<3

I'll go to see it anyway, regardless. I have no self control!

Anyway. Fourth film. Hmm. Fountain of Youth... would that mean they'd do a premiere down here finally???? O_o
I'm not too crazy about Orlando and Keira returning (as in if they ever decided to at all) so I think it's good for them that they decided to move
on. All three films I felt were more of their journey (accompanied by Jack and co.). So that's all done with.
As for returning cast PLEASE, give us some more familiar faces aside from Jack. @_@

Ehhh, not too excited about this. I want Norrington to be back, in his naval uniform with evil pirates and good navymen (and good pirates too).

The fountain of youth idea is very interesting. I would be looking forward toward any further updates for PotC 4.
The Pirates movies are some of the better series of movies now a days IMO. And Depp does an outstanding job as Sparrow.
IMO opinion, I think it's time to move on without Orlando and Knightly. They've done there part and now there's not much in store for them now. We
know what happens to them, so 4 would be a good time to bring in some different characters.
